Crews
Group team members into crews so you can assign and schedule jobs for an entire team at once.
What Are Crews?
A crew is a named group of team members who typically work together. Instead of assigning a job to individual team members one by one, you can assign it to a crew and everyone in that crew is included.
Common examples:
- Mowing Crew — two operators and a trimmer
- Install Crew — hardscape and planting specialists
- Maintenance Team — weekly property maintenance group
Creating a Crew
- Go to Team and click Crews.
- Click Create Crew.
- Give the crew a name.
- Add team members to the crew.
- Click Save.
Assigning Crews to Jobs
When creating or editing a job, you can assign a crew instead of (or in addition to) individual team members. All members of the crew are assigned to the job.
Crews also appear on the Schedule calendar, making it easy to see what each crew has planned for the day.
Managing Crews
You can edit a crew at any time to add or remove members. Changes to crew membership apply to future job assignments — existing jobs keep their original assignments.
To delete a crew, remove it from the Crews page. This does not affect any team members or existing job assignments.
