Equipment Reports
Equipment reports help you understand the financial impact of your equipment — depreciation, usage costs, and tax-year summaries.
Depreciation Reports
Track how your equipment’s value decreases over time. Service Invoice Pro supports two depreciation methods:
- Straight-line — value decreases evenly over the equipment’s useful life
- Custom rate — set your own annual depreciation percentage
Depreciation calculations account for partial first-year prorating based on the purchase date.
The report shows each piece of equipment with:
- Original purchase price
- Current depreciated value
- Annual depreciation amount
- Remaining useful life
Usage Reports
See how much each piece of equipment is being used across jobs. The report shows:
- Total hours used per equipment item
- Jobs the equipment was used on
- Revenue generated from equipment usage charges
Tax-Year Reports
Generate end-of-year equipment reports for tax purposes. Export in multiple formats:
- JSON — for importing into other systems
- CSV — for spreadsheet analysis
- PDF — for sharing with your accountant
Tax-year reports include purchase dates, depreciation amounts, current values, and maintenance costs — everything your accountant needs for equipment-related tax deductions.
GPS Fleet Map
The fleet map shows the last known location of equipment on a map. This requires team members to have location sharing active on their device — the map is not passive tracking. Equipment locations update when team members with the equipment have location sharing enabled.
If no locations are showing, check that team members have enabled location sharing in their mobile device settings.
