Stripe Integration

Use Stripe to accept credit card and ACH payments directly from your invoices.

Service Invoice Pro uses Stripe Connect, which means you connect your own Stripe account and customer payments go directly to you. Service Invoice Pro does not add a platform fee on top of Stripe’s standard rates (2.9% + 30¢ for cards and 0.8% (capped at $5) for ACH).

What Stripe Handles

  • Online checkout for invoice payments
  • Credit card and ACH bank transfer processing
  • Deposits to your bank account on Stripe’s payout schedule
  • Fraud screening, compliance, and payment confirmation

What Service Invoice Pro Handles

  • Showing the Pay Now button on eligible invoices
  • Sending the customer into Stripe Checkout
  • Marking invoices paid after Stripe confirms the payment
  • Recording the payment on the invoice automatically
  • Syncing Stripe-backed payments and payouts into QuickBooks when that integration is enabled

Before You Start

Make sure all of these are true:

  1. You are on the Pro plan.
  2. You are the account owner.
  3. You have a Stripe account ready to connect, or are prepared to create one during setup.
  4. Your business and bank details are available for Stripe onboarding.
