Do I need my own Stripe account?

Yes. Service Invoice Pro uses your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect, so payments go directly to you.

Does Service Invoice Pro charge extra on top of Stripe?

No. Service Invoice Pro does not add a platform fee to online payments. Stripe’s standard rates are the only processing fees: 2.9% + 30¢ for cards and 0.8% (capped at $5) for ACH.

Who can connect Stripe?

Only the account owner can connect, disconnect, or manage Stripe from Settings > Payments.

Can customers pay by ACH bank transfer?

Yes. Customers can pay by ACH bank transfer as well as credit/debit card. ACH usually takes 3-5 business days to clear.

When does an invoice change to paid?

The invoice updates when Service Invoice Pro receives the Stripe confirmation it expects. Card payments usually update quickly. ACH payments can take a few business days before they settle.

Do I need a Pro plan for Stripe?

Yes. Online payments through Stripe are a Pro-only feature.

Can I still mark invoices paid manually if Stripe is connected?

Yes. Stripe handles online checkout, but you can still use Marking as Paid for cash, check, Zelle, or other offline payments.

Can Stripe payments sync to QuickBooks?

Yes. If you also use the QuickBooks Integration, Stripe-backed payments and payouts can be reflected there, depending on your QuickBooks sync settings and account mappings.

Where do I see payouts, disputes, or refunds?

Open the Stripe Dashboard from Settings > Payments to review payouts, fees, disputes, refunds, and account notices directly in Stripe.
