Review Requests
Automatically send review requests to customers after a job is completed. More reviews means more visibility and trust for your business.
How It Works
When a job is marked as completed, Service Invoice Pro can automatically send a review request to the customer after a configurable delay. The request includes a link to leave a review on Google (or another platform you specify).
Setting Up Review Requests
- Go to Settings and find the Review Requests section.
- Enable automated review requests.
- Set the delay — how long after job completion to send the request (e.g., 1 hour, 1 day, 3 days).
- Enter your Google review URL — this is the direct link to your Google Business review page.
Finding Your Google Review URL
- Search for your business on Google.
- Click Write a review on your Google Business Profile.
- Copy the URL from your browser — this is the link you’ll paste into Settings.
What Customers Receive
Customers receive a friendly message asking them to leave a review, with a direct link to your review page. The message is sent via email.
Delay Settings
The delay controls how long after job completion the review request is sent:
- 1 hour — while the experience is still fresh
- 1 day — gives the customer time to enjoy the results (recommended for most landscaping work)
- 3 days — for larger projects where the customer may need time to assess the work
Tips
- Don’t over-request — customers who receive too many review requests may get annoyed. The system only sends one request per job.
- Respond to reviews — whether positive or negative, responding shows you care about customer feedback.
- Time it right — sending the request a day after completion works well for most landscaping and service businesses.
