Estimate Settings

Configure how your estimates are numbered and set default terms that auto-fill on new estimates.

How to Access

Go to Settings > Estimate Settings. Only the account owner can access these settings.

Estimate Number Prefix

The prefix appears at the beginning of every estimate number.

• Default: “EST-”
• You can change it to anything, like “QUOTE-” or “Q-”
• Example: With prefix “EST-” and sequence 42, the estimate number is EST-00042

Next Estimate Sequence

Controls the next number assigned to a new estimate. Set this if you’re migrating from another system and want to continue your numbering. A preview shows what the next estimate number will look like.

Default Estimate Terms

Text that auto-fills the Terms field on every new estimate. You can override it per estimate.

Example: “This estimate is valid for 30 days from the issue date.”
