Managing Jobs

View your job list, edit job details, and track billing progress from the job detail page.

Job List

Click Jobs in the sidebar to see all your jobs. The list shows each job’s name, customer, status, and contract total.

Filtering and Searching

  • Search by job name or customer name.
  • Filter by status — show only Active, Completed, or Cancelled jobs.
  • Click column headers to sort.
  • The list is paginated with page controls at the bottom.

Job Detail Page

Click any job to open its detail page. The detail page has several sections:

Job Form

Edit the job name, customer, description, service address, contract total, status, and scheduling dates. Click Save to update.

Assigned Team Members

Shows which team members are assigned to this job (Pro). Edit assignments from the job form.

Billing Summary

When a contract total is set, the billing summary shows:

  • Contract Total — the full value of the job
  • Invoiced (Sent/Paid) — total from sent and paid invoices
  • Remaining Uninvoiced — how much is left to bill
  • Progress bar — visual percentage of how much has been invoiced
  • Create Remaining Invoice button — quickly create an invoice for the outstanding balance

Milestones

Break a job into payment stages. Each milestone can be a percentage of the contract total or a fixed amount. Create invoices directly from milestones.

Photos

Upload before, after, and progress photos. See Job Photos for details.

Invoices

All invoices linked to this job. Click Create Invoice to add a new one, or click any invoice to view it.

Estimates

All estimates linked to this job. Click Create Estimate to add a new one.

Expenses

All expenses tracked against this job, with a profitability summary showing total expenses, revenue (from paid invoices), profit, and margin.

Deleting a Job

Click Delete Job on the detail page. This permanently removes the job and all associated invoices, estimates, milestones, photos, and expenses. Only account owners can delete jobs.

Tips

  • Use the billing summary to quickly see if you’ve forgotten to invoice for any work.
  • The profitability section under expenses shows whether a job is making or losing money.
