Managing Your Subscription

Update your payment method, view billing history, or cancel your subscription.

All subscription management happens through Stripe’s billing portal, which you can access directly from Service Invoice Pro.

Accessing the Billing Portal

  1. Go to Settings > Billing & Subscription.
  2. Click Manage Subscription.
  3. You’ll be taken to the Stripe billing portal where you can manage all aspects of your subscription.

What You Can Do

In the Stripe billing portal, you can:

  • Update your payment method — change your credit card or add a new one
  • View billing history — see past invoices and payment receipts
  • Download receipts — get receipts for your records or expense reports
  • Cancel your subscription — stop your Pro plan at any time

Canceling Your Subscription

If you cancel:

  • You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period
  • After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan
  • All your data is preserved — invoices, customers, jobs, and everything else remains safe
  • You just won’t be able to use Pro features (online payments, reminders, recurring invoices) until you re-subscribe

To cancel, click Manage Subscription and follow the cancellation flow in the Stripe portal.

Re-Subscribing

If you’ve cancelled and want Pro again, go to Settings > Billing & Subscription and click Upgrade to Pro. Your Pro features are reactivated immediately and all your data is exactly as you left it.

Past Due Payments

If your payment method fails (expired card, insufficient funds), your subscription status changes to past due. A red alert appears on the billing page:

Your payment is past due. Please update your payment method to continue using Pro features.

Click Manage Subscription to update your payment method in the Stripe portal.

Tips

  • Only the account owner can manage the subscription. Team members don’t have access to billing settings.
  • Stripe handles all payment processing securely — Service Invoice Pro never sees your full card number.
  • If you have questions about a charge, you can view the detailed receipt in the Stripe billing portal.
